Families still bring us stones he lettered, and we are glad to add a name or bring one back to its best.

South Lanarkshire Council sets its own memorial regulations and approves every new memorial and added inscription in its cemeteries. We confirm the rules before any design is drawn, handle the permit with the lair holder, and include the fee in our price.

Getting to the yard

The yard in Bishopbriggs is around 25 to 35 minutes by car from Hamilton and East Kilbride. We are happy to arrange things by phone and post, and to meet you at the cemetery.

Can you add a name to a stone made by another mason?

Yes. We match the existing lettering style and finish as closely as the stone allows, and check the stone is sound before we letter it.

Do we have to come to Bishopbriggs?

No. Many South Lanarkshire families arrange everything by phone and post, and we can meet you at the cemetery to look at the lair or the existing stone.
